Widget, Live Activity, Watch, and CarPlay

Start from Home Screen, lock screen, Watch companion, and CarPlay.

Home Screen widget

Favorite segments appear on the Home Screen widget. Tap to start recording that segment (iPhone continues the session).

Live Activity

While recording, Lock Screen / Dynamic Island (and Watch Smart Stack) can show live progress when Live Activity is enabled in Settings.

Apple Watch

The Watch companion is report-oriented: start on iPhone; stop can go through the Live Activity / Smart Stack flow.

CarPlay

CarPlay supports start/stop and segment pick. Segment create/edit stays on the phone. CarPlay map cadence uses the optimized profile; the puck compass arrow stays visible.
