Map matching (Pro)

Pretty path, Mapbox vs custom OSRM, and Process routes automatically.

What it is

Map matching snaps a recorded GPS track to roads for a smoother pretty path. It is Pro, automotive only, and runs on demand from replay — not on every save.

How to use

  1. Open a replay.
  2. Tap the pretty-path control.
  3. Confirm if prompted (unless Process routes automatically is on in Settings).

Already-matched routes can be rematched from replay when you ask.

Providers

  • Mapbox (Pro default): needs a Mapbox token in the build configuration.
  • Custom OSRM: set base URL and API key in Settings (Pro). Profile is driving.

Free accounts see the paywall instead of matching.
